01About

I build and run engineering organizations.

I've led engineering organizations for over ten years, and before that I spent ten years running infrastructure and managing IT projects. As CTO at intive I ran a technology organization of more than 60 people and was responsible for its roadmap and R&D investment. Today I'm on the management team at Paradox Cat, where I run graphics and software development across Munich and Bucharest.

02Career

  1. Sep 2024 – today

    Director Development

    Paradox Cat GmbH

    • Member of the management team. I run the graphics and software organization across Munich and Bucharest.
    • Lead the Graphics team delivering series HMI for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, and HMI work for Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.
    • Oversee software engineering for a real-time 3D HMI toolchain and engine.
    • Started Digital Twin as a new business line.

    Chief Technology Officer

    • Led a technology organization of 60+ people.
    • Owned the technology roadmap and R&D investment.

    • Led project teams and designed solution architectures for clients.

    Clients at intive included BMW, BASF, Continental, Vorwerk, MediaMarkt, Deichmann, Rossmann, Oberalp and Munich Airport.

    Project Manager, IoT Electronics · DevOps Engineer

    BSH Home Appliances

    • 2016–2017: project manager for IoT electronics in connected home appliances.
    • 2014–2016: built the development toolchain, continuous integration and build infrastructure.

  5. 2008 – 2014

    Senior System Administrator

    CipSoft · Tibia, TibiaME

    • Ran the infrastructure for the online games across several data centers, and moved it to the cloud.
    • Moved web services to a CDN, set up DDoS protection and ran a PCI-compliant payment infrastructure.

  6. 2004 – 2008

    System Administrator

    Kromberg & Schubert

    • Ran production IT: production line and ERP servers, network and storage.
    • Moved the company to VoIP and helped build its data centers.

As CTO at intive, I led 60+ people in the line through 6 team leads, and was responsible for the technology organization, its roadmap and R&D investment.

Graphics and software development at Paradox Cat, run from Munich and Bucharest, delivering HMI for premium carmakers.

Started Digital Twin at Paradox Cat.

A new way of running an organization

Rebuilt how we plan, deliver and report, with AI tools at the centre, several of which I built myself.
